A MAN drove through 60 European cities in 18 days for Sue Ryder.

A MAN drove through 60 European cities in 18 days for Sue Ryder.

Richard Morris’ 10,500-mile journey raised about £4,000 for the charity’s hospice in Nettlebed.

He drove to Latvia through Belgium, Germany, Poland and Lithuania then returned via the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Austria, Slovenia, Italy, France and Spain.

He decided to support the hospice as it cared for his father Tony before he died in 2009. Mr Morris, from Wallingford, said: “People on the way were so inspiring. They all took an interest in what I was doing.”
