STAFFat Henley estate agent Knight Frank took part in a charity rowathon.

Matthew Mannall, Charlie Fisher, Alexander Risdon, Sue Lewis, Suzy Garrett and Nick Brown took it in turns to row 2,112m, the length of the Henley Royal Regatta course, on two ergo machines borrowed from Henley Rowing Club.

Customers, agents and friends popped into the firm’s office in Riverside to make donations.

The challenge was part of a national Knight Frank Day of Giving and individual branches chose their activities.

Sue Lewis said: “We decided on rowing because of the Thames.”

Half of the money raised will go to LandAid and the rest will be split equally between Kids’ Company, Mary’s Meals, the MPS Society and Barnardo’s.
