Alternative health clinic launched

A NEW pranic healing clinic has been launched in Sonning Common.

A NEW pranic healing clinic has been launched in Sonning Common.

About 10 people attended the first event at The Studio in Grove Road on Saturday, which raised £80 for charity.

It was organised by Sarah Jenner, who runs a Pranic Healing clinic in Churchill Crescent, Dave Willis, from Tilehurst, and Marion Hughes, from Marlow.

All proceeds will go to the MCKS charity, which raises money for a number of good causes around the world.

Mrs Jenner said: “Dave, Marion and I all have our own areas which we normally cover but are coming together like this to promote pranic healing and raise money for the charity.

“We were very happy with how the event went, especially as it was our first in Sonning Common.”

Pranic healing is a non-contact therapy system developed and promoted by Choa Kok Sui which claims that prana (energy) can heal emotional, physical and psychological ailments by manipulation of the person’s energy field.

Mrs Jenner said: “We will hold the sessions once a month and it’s an opportunity for people to come and have a taster session. In return, we ask that they donate a minimum of £5, which goes to charity.”

The sessions will be held on the first Saturday of the month from 10am to noon at The Studio. For more information, call Mrs Jenner on 07736 298206 or email sjpranichealing@gmail.com
