In training, an intense aerobic fitness class raised about £100 for Cancer Research.

Personal fitness trainers Emma-Jane Taylor and Chantal Watts ran the Insane-A-Thon event at Henley town hall for about 30 people keen to kick-start their fitness regime for the New Year.

Mrs Taylor, who runs health business Nutritious Works, said the event was the first of its type to be held in the UK. She said, “Henley was absolutely brilliant, the town was really supportive. It was definitely a tough day if you did all four of the classes which some people did. Thank you to everybody who supported us and took part and we’ll see you next year.“

The majority of people who took part attend their Henley Insaniacs fitness classes. For more information visit www.insaneathon.com
