PLANS for a new children's hospice will be unveiled at an exhibition at the Old Fire Station Gallery in Henley next month.

The Alexander Devine Children's Hospice Service will stage the show from March 12 to 15 (10am to 4pm).

The charity provides respite, emergency and end-of-life care for children with life-limiting conditions throughout Berkshire and surrounding counties, including Oxfordshire.

In November 2013 a £5 million fund-raising appeal was launched for a new hospice near Maidenhead.

The exhibition will comprise plans and pictures and visitors will be able to discuss the work of the charity with its representatives.

There will also be an art exhibition and auction presented by antiques expert Jonty Hearnden as well as Lego for children to play with and smoothies to drink.
