PIERS BURNELL paid for a community defibrillator to be installed in Henley town centre in September.

The life-saving device was supplied by the Millie’s Dream appeal and was unveiled outside HSBC in Market Place.

Mr Burnell read about the appeal in the

Henley Standard
and pledged to fund one as his sister Joanna died from a heart attack four years ago.

He has two older brothers, Mark, an author, and Guy, a business consultant.

Mr Burnell has also bought a device for his daughter’s school in Chiswick and helped with the ones at Gillotts School and Leander Club in Henley.
