A CHARITY fun day in aid of the Julian Starmer-Smith Lymphoma Fund will be held tomorrow (Saturday) from 2pm to 7pm at the sports pavilion in Hambleden.
It will feature live music, a barbecue, face-painting, children’s games, a bouncy castle and a tug-of-war contest. There will also be books for sale, plants and bric-a-brac.
Organiser Helen Webb wants to raise money towards the research of lymphoma under the Oxford University Hospitals Charitable Fund.
The mother-of-two was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma, a type of blood cancer, in September 2013. Mrs Webb finished her chemotherapy in March last year when doctors confirmed she was in remission.
