A WOMAN from Medmenham has organised a spinathon to raise money for charity.

Jules Tarr, 50, has organised the event to raise money for Help for Heroes with about 100 people riding stationary bikes for six hours.

It will be held at Castle Royle Golf Club in Maidenhead where Mrs Tarr is ladies’ captain and will be attended by the RAF’s most senior female officer, Air Vice-Marshal Elaine West.

Mrs Tarr, a former air traffic controller in the RAF, said: “I am delighted, on behalf of the UK Armed Forces, to lend my support and encouragement to all at Castle Royle as they embark on their epic challenge. Thousands of UK servicemen and women have benefited from Help for Heroes’ incredible work.”
