A SOLICITOR from Henley is to take part in a charity cycle ride.

James Constable, 31, of King?s Road, will join the London-Surrey 100 event on Sunday together with his 26-year-old brother Jordan.

The 100-mile challenge starts at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and goes through Surrey before finishing at The Mall.

Mr Constable, who only took up cycling last year, is raising money for the Thai Children?s Trust, which helps orphans, children at risk, children with HIV and Aids and children with disabilities.

He said: ?I have visited Thailand on holiday and my partner Juliette was lucky enough to join the charity on a trip to the projects it funds in February.

?The charity does some amazing work and when I signed up for the event there was no question about where I wanted my fund-raising money to go.?

Mr Constable has already raised more than £500. To donate, visit www.justgiving.com/JamesConstable84
