CHARITY swimmers passed through Henley with a giant inflatable pink dog in tow.

The “Thames Doggy” swimmers hope to raise £200,000 for the UK Stem Cell Foundation with their 155-mile swim along the Thames.

The 10 swimmers, who used only the doggie paddle technique, started at Lechlade and finished in Putney four days later and also passed through Benson, Goring, Caversham and Hurley.

They took it in turns to complete legs and one member of the team was always in the water, day or night.
