All set for ploughing match

A ?HEAVY horse village? will feature at this year?s Henley ploughing match.

A ?HEAVY horse village? will feature at this year?s Henley ploughing match.

The event, which is organised by the Henley and District Agricultural Association, will take place at Dunsden Way, Binfield Heath on Sunday, October 4.

It will feature vintage and modern tractor ploughing, trailer rides, terrier and ferret racing, children?s rides, a poultry auction, food and a country market.

There will be four teams working the land, including Bryony Gill with her grey Shires Brave Lad and Angel, as seen on Countryfile.

Several breeds will be standing by for visitors to see including be the rare Suffolk horse.

Gates open at 9am with a blessing of the plough ceremony at 9.15am. Gate prices are adults £5 (concessions £3), and children under five go free.
