THE Marc Antoni hair salons in Henley and Caversham helped to raise more than £21,800 for charity.

A five-strong team began raising money with company bikeathons and last week completed a 500km cycle from London to Paris.

The company pledged to raise £15,000 for Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research, a charity now known as Bloodwise, after co-owner Simon Giamattei was diagnosed with leukaemia in January 2013.

Bruno Marc Giamattei, who owns Marc Antoni in Hart Street, Henley, said: “I’m so proud of everyone who has taken part and supported us.”
