Charity status for conservation group

A VILLAGE conservation group in Benson has had its application for “small charity” status approved by HM Revenue and Customs.

A VILLAGE conservation group in Benson has had its application for “small charity” status approved by HM Revenue and Customs.

This will allow the Bensington Society to claim gift aid for its membership fees and donations without the need to complete the relevant forms and will allow it to make donations to worthwhile causes in Benson and its satellite villages.
