A CHARITY based in Kidmore End has been wound up.

Trustees of the Dorothea Vanderstegen Trust for coal for widows made the decision as its bank account has been inactive for many years.

Former village rector Graham Foulis Brown told Kidmore End Parish Council that the account had £450 in.

The money will be split between Sonning Common Health Centre’s community fund and the FISH volunteer centre.
