£1,000 raised by Young Farmers quiz night

A CHEQUE for more than £1,000 has been presented to a charity which provides physiotherapy for children

A CHEQUE for more than £1,000 has been presented to a charity which provides physiotherapy for children with neurological conditions.

Henley Young Farmers selected the Footsteps Foundation as its chosen charity.

The money was raised from a quiz night with a hog roast and bottle raffle. It will directly fund 20 hours of therapy for a disabled child in need.

Tina Jacobs, a Footsteps Foundation trustee, gave a presentation about the charity and was presented with the cheque

The Footsteps centre, based in Dorchester-on-Thames, attracts families from all over the UK to access specialist, intensive and life-changing therapy.
