ABOUT 200 people attended a Christmas fair in Crazies Hill.

ABOUT 200 people attended a Christmas fair in Crazies Hill.

The event was held at the village school and featured stalls, a Santa’s grotto, a gift-wrapping room and games for children.

Among the stallholders were Humphreys of Henley and Wentworth estate agents. There were also stalls selling festive food and drink.

The grotto had a reindeer theme, while the school’s Remenham classroom hosted an “imagination room” showing the Christmas film

The Snowman and the Snowdog.
Jo Southwell, who chairs the school’s parents association, said: “We had a lot of people turn up, which was brilliant. Parents and friends said there was a nice festive atmosphere.”

The event raised about £2,500, which will be used to pay for events and equipment at the school.

Mrs Southwell said: “The main thing we want to do this year is build an outside classroom, a wooden structure in the field near the school for outdoor activities and learning.”
