Pet project

Members of the school council at Robert Piggott School in Wargrave visited the Diana Brimblecombe Animal Rescue Centre

Members of the school council at Robert Piggott School in Wargrave visited the Diana Brimblecombe Animal Rescue Centre in Wokingham. The children were given a tour of the centre, which homes dogs, cats, guinea pigs, rabbits and birds. They presented a cheque for £50 to volunteer Sarah Ball which will be used for veterinary fees and upkeep of the animals. The money was raised when the children collected “I Can” tokens, which are awarded for good behaviour or deeds and are converted into cash each year for a charity chosen by the council
