The college’s Student Union charities officers is supporting Young Minds, which is committed to improving the emotional wellbeing and mental health of children and young people, and the Thames Valley and Chiltern Air Ambulance Trust as their charities of the year. The students also held a raffle with prizes donated by Henley businesses, including two tickets to the Regal Picturehouse cinema, a manicure at Henley Nails and Brows, a pizza meal voucher for four from Magoos and an afternoon tea from Upstairs, Downstairs.

Prizes were also donated by the Student Union. Annie Howarth, Student Union liaison officer, said: “It was really lovely for the students to meet Selina Avent, a volunteer from the air ambulance trust, who spent some time giving the Student Union some more information on the fantastic work it does.”
