Henley Lions Club has donated £1,000 to children’s charity The Footsteps Foundation. The money was raised by the club’s Santa’s grotto at Toad Hall garden centre in December. An extra £20 was donated by a member’s family who live in California and heard about the event. The charity, which is based in Dorchester, provides physiotherapy for children and young adults affected by conditions including cerebral palsy and neurological disorders. Another £1,000 raised by the grotto will be donated to the Chiltern Centre for disabled children in Greys Road, Henley.
