Toddlers can learn to dance too

Toddlers can learn to dance too

MUM-of-two Steph Maxwell, the principal of the Divas and Dudes Dance Academy, is excited to be introducing “Disco Duck” funky dance classes for toddlers and pre-schoolers aged 18 months and upwards in Henley, starting in January.

Disco Duck classes aim to develop real learning outcomes such as rhythm and timing, balance,
co-ordination, fine and gross motor skills. The idea is to build the foundations of dance with a sound structure, catchy tunes and supporting the early years foundation stages, but most importantly maintaining fun and energetic elements in the 30-minute sessions.

A trial class is being held on Tuesday, January 3, at the Christ Church Centre in Reading Road from 10am to 10.30am at the reduced price of £3 — so please book early to avoid disappointment.

Classes are also available for ages three years and up in ISTD (Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing) tap, ballet and modern, street dance and contemporary. Also dance parties for all ages.
