A COMMUNITY festival called Hope Henley will be held over the August bank holiday weekend.
It has been organised by Henley Baptist Church and will feature a series of free events.
On Friday, August 22, there will be a family fun day with a climbing wall and team games on Freemans Meadow, just off Fair Mile, from 1pm to 4pm and a youth Battle of the Bands and club night at the d:two centre in Market Place from 7.30pm to 10pm.
On the Saturday there will be gardening and car washing from 1pm to 4pm and a youth music and stories café evening at d:two from 7.30pm to 9.30pm.
On the Sunday there will be a Church in the Park at Mill and Marsh Meadows from 10.30am to 3pm followed by a barbecue and boat ride. A charge will be made for the boat ride.
