THE Regal in Henley has introduced two new initiatives for people who may find it hard to get out to the cinema.
Toddler Time is a new regular film club aimed at introducing young children to the delights of watching films on the big screen at their local cinema and will be launched on January 28. One weekday morning will be set aside for special 30-minute screenings aimed at pre-school children and their parents or carers.
First up will be a selection of Peppa Pig adventures, followed by a diverse selection of classics and animations. These screenings will be held every Tuesday at 11am.
Tickets for screenings will be priced at £3 for children and accompanying adults who are club members. Toddler Time is free to join.
Meanwhile, another new initiative was launched this month for people who are deaf or hard of hearing. Special screenings every Tuesday feature subtitles in English.
Coming up on January 29 is The Impossible (12A), and a subtitled version of Lincoln (12A) will be screened on February 5. On February 12 you can catch Hyde Park On Hudson (12A) and on February 19 the latest Disney blockbuster, Wreck-It Ralph (PG) is screened with subtitles.
