HOLOCAUST Memorial Day is on Wednesday (January 27) and to mark it Henley’s Regal Picturehouse cinema has a special screening of

My Nazi Legacy
.

Rated PG and with a running time of 94 minutes, director David Evans’s 2015 film explores the relationship between two men, each of whom are the children of very high-ranking Nazi officials and possess starkly contrasting attitudes toward their fathers.

Eminent human rights lawyer Philippe Sands probes the complicated connection between the two, and delves into the story of his own grandfather, who escaped the town where their fathers carried out mass killings.

The three embark on an emotional journey together as they travel through Europe and converse about the past, examining the sins of their fathers and ultimately coming to some very unexpected and difficult conclusions.

My Nazi Legacy is showing at Henley’s Regal Picturehouse at 6.30pm on Wednesday, January 27.
