Railway talk

A TALK on the history of railway in the Goring area will be given at the village hall on April 14, starting at 8pm.

Mike Hurst, of the Goring and Streatley Local History Society, will discuss the construction of the village station in 1840 and its footbridge in 1892. He will also look at other stops on the route between Pangbourne and Cholsey.
