Tragic sisters

AUTHOR Helen Rappaport will give a talk in Watlington about the Romanov sisters and their tragic end in a basement at Ekaterinburg in 1918.

Called “Four sisters: the lost lives of the Romanov grand duchesses”, the talk will be at the town hall next Friday (October 24) at 8pm.

The talk has been organised by the Friends of Watlington library but visitors are welcome.

Tickets cost £8 and are available from the library or the post office.
