The Friends in Sickness and Health centre needs car and minibus drivers to take vulnerable residents in Sonning Common, Peppard, Kidmore End, Gallowstree Common and Binfield Heath to hospital and other appointments. Office staff and house visitors are also required for the charity, which is run by volunteers and relies on donations and fund-raising initiatives.

Chairman Fred Nickson said: “We provide a valuable community service and rely on volunteers who have time to share.”
