British Legion fete back again

THE Watlington branch of the Royal British Legion will be holding its annual fete next month and about 500 people

THE Watlington branch of the Royal British Legion will be holding its annual fete next month and about 500 people are expected to attend.The fete, which was cancelled last year due to the Jubilee, will take place on August 26 in the garden of a house in Church Close which belongs to Brigadier Nigel Mogg and his wife Tessa. Branch chairman Dick Stillwell said: “We will be having the Watlington Concert Band playing, a barbecue, a bar, tea stall, bouncy castle and bottle tombola.”

There will also be a range of stalls from local clubs, and activities. To reserve a stall call (01491) 613105.
