A MUSIC concert and fete in Nettlebed have raised a combined total of £6,000 for the village.
More than 200 people attended the events which were designed to bring the community together.
Louise Porter and Jodi Butler co-organised the concert which hosted five acts including a school band and professional singer Gareth Nugent.
They helped to raise £2,000 which will go towards new cricket nets for the village club which will be free for the public to use.
The rest of the money will go towards other community projects.
Ms Porter said: “The acts all gave up their time free of charge and we hope the cricket nets are a good way of bringing the community together through sport.”
She added: “We are definitely looking to do it again next year and we might be able to extend the time that it is on for.”
