Tractor run proceeds

THE seventh Chiltern vintage tractor run raised £2,726 for the Thames Valley and Chiltern Air Ambulance Trust.

THE seventh Chiltern vintage tractor run raised £2,726 for the Thames Valley and Chiltern Air Ambulance Trust.

The Ferguson Club, which organised the event in May, said the money came from entry fees, sponsorship and donations.

Club spokesman Gary Anderson said: “This year’s run raised a superb amount, particularly considering the current economic climate. A massive thank-you to all.”

A record 65 tractors took part in the run, which included a stop for a barbecue lunch at the Fawley Hill estate of Sir William and Lady McAlpine.
