UNEMPLOYMENT in the Henley parliamentary constituency continues to fall. Just over one per cent of people aged 16 to 64 are now out of work, according to the latest figures from the Office of National Statistics. A total of 527 people were claiming unemployment benefit in July, 10 fewer than in June and 93 fewer than in July last year. The number of young people unemployed was 85. In Henley town, the number of jobless was 84. Henley MP John Howell said: “This is really very good news.”
