Protecting Chilterns

RESIDENTS are being asked for their views on how to preserve the countryside.

RESIDENTS are being asked for their views on how to preserve the countryside.

The Chilterns Conservation Board is putting together a draft plan on how to tackle issues such as wildlife, fly- tipping, blocked footpaths, the impact of tree diseases and ugly developments.

By law, a plan has to be produced every five years to guide the management of the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

The draft plan can be viewed at www.chilternsaonb.org/management-plan and comments must be sent by December 13.
