A FRUIT tree project has been launched by Henley in Transition.

A FRUIT tree project has been launched by Henley in Transition.

The environmental group is urging town centre residents to plant trees in their gardens to replace those lost through felling or development.

A range of trees including cherry, peach, dessert apple and damson can be bought directly from the group for £15, including delivery. Residents can also join a small group for a planting demonstration and advice on tree care.

To order a tree, visit www.henley-in-transition.org.uk Orders should be made by Tuesday.
