ORGANISERS of this year’s Frieth Hilly want to break last year’s record number of entries.

ORGANISERS of this year’s Frieth Hilly want to break last year’s record number of entries.

The event will take place on Sunday and there will be 10km and 5km races, starting from Frieth School at 10am.

Last year on the day registrations pushed the entry number way past 500 and this year advance registrations are ahead of normal.

Race director Diane Hill: “We’re filling up quickly. Word has got out that the Frieth Hilly is an exciting run with beautiful scenery and a genuinely warm welcome.”

Children aged 11 and over can enter the shorter race.

There will be massages for tired runners and supporters as well as refreshments including coffee, tea, home-made cakes and ice cream and sausage butties.

Dave the Disco will entertain children and a crèche run by Frieth Pre-School will be available if it is pre-booked.

All proceeds go to towardnew IT equipment school.

To enter, visit www.frieth hilly.co.uk or www.runners world.co.uk
