SCORES of people attended the Goring and District Twinning Association’s third annual craft fair at the village hall.
The two-day fair featured almost 30 stalls selling a range of goods including pottery, jewellery, hand-turned wood, Christmas cards and photographs. Most stallholders were local and were selling hand-made items.
There was also a raffle with prizes donated by local businesses and association members, who also provided home-made soup, cakes and hot drinks.
The proceeds will fund the association’s exchange visits with residents of Goring’s French twin town Bellême.
Organiser Sue Lyons said: “It was pretty successful as the attendance was higher than last year. There was a steady stream of people coming and going the whole time and the stallholders were very happy with how they’d done.”
