WE are delighted to announce that the club is to host a charity dinner with James Bond film director John Glen.

It will take place at Badgemore Park Golf Club on Friday, April 22.

John, who was born in Sunbury-on-Thames in 1932, started his working life in 1954 as a messenger boy.

He went on to direct a record five Bond films, For Your Eyes Only (1981), Octopussy (1983), A View To A Kill (1985), The Living Daylights (1987) and Licence To Kill (1989).

John will be talking about his incredible career in the movies from the Sixties to the Eighties and showing some personal film footage not seen before.

Hopefully, he will be sharing some secrets too!

Tickets cost £25 each and are available from Badgemore Park Golf Club on (01491) 637302.

The proceeds will go to the Teenage Wilderness Trust, which supports students who find it difficult to engage with mainstream education. The trust offers courses using bushcraft and wilderness learning techniques, along with practical life skills to encourage students to get back to their learning, in turn giving them a better chance of a positive future.
