AT 52 Queen Street, Henley, the club recently re-organised the committee and appointed Jack Ellery as president.

The club is delighted that John Grout has accepted the position of vice-president.

The club has a private function room with a bar for general hire. Facilities for use by members are snooker, pool, darts, cribbage and bingo on Saturdays and Sundays with a quiz on Fridays. Trips are organised with weekends away.

The vice-president will be actively looking to encourage new members who will be most welcome. Call the secretary Mrs R Painter on (01491) 572300. Please come and visit this “heart of Henley” club.

It is with much regret that the club has said goodbye to bar steward Fred Blackall who has devoted his time to running the club for the last five years.
