A pupil from Valley Road school won the Kenton Theatre’s treasure hunt competition.
Grace Pratt, six, won the opportunity to go backstage and meet the cast of this year’s pantomime, Aladdin, as well as four tickets to the final performance and a goody bag.
Grace won the prize after correctly identifying which ten shop windows in Bell Street, Hart Street, Duke Street and Market Place had an Aladdin’s lamp hidden in them.
Her parents, Siobhan and Jason Pratt, and brother, Eddie, eight, accompanied Grace to the show at the New Street theatre on Saturday (December 28).
Mrs Pratt, of Gainsborough Hill, said: “Grace really took the treasure hunt very seriously. She was looking for the lamps right up until the shops closed and then we stopped for a snack and carried on. She was thrilled to have won.”
