Death was accident

THE death of a pilot from Wargrave who was killed when his light aircraft crashed into an Italian mountain in thick fog was an accident, a coroner has recorded.

Alan Tyson, 52, of Ridgeway, died when his Beechcraft 58 Baron twin turbo prop plane flew into Mount Mindino, near the Italian Riviera, at an altitude of 1,880m on June 16. He was a director of Bonanza Flying Club in Belgravia.

The inquest was heard by Berkshire coroner Peter Bedford in Reading on Tuesday.
