Plugging in

CHARGING points will be installed at Henley and Goring stations as part of a government initiative to encourage electric car use.

First Great Western has been awarded £315,000 to install the devices at 44 stations, also including Reading and Didcot Parkway.

A spokeswoman said: “These charging points will enable customers to take full advantage of travelling in a more sustainable way.”

Henley in Transition said it welcomed the move.
