A GARDENERS’ forum will be held at Shiplake Memorial Hall next Friday (March 21) at 7.30pm.
The theme of the evening will be gardening in an environmentally friendly way and getting the best out of your hard work.
The panel will consist of Andrew Hawkins, chairman of Henley Allotments Association, Rachel Siegfried, grower at Little Stoke cut flower specialist Green and Gorgeous, and Robert Sandford, who has a large organic vegetable garden near Knowl Hill. There will also be a chance to win a two-hour consultancy with Ana Mari Bull, a garden designer.
The event has been organised by Shiplake Garden Club and the proceeds will be divided between Macmillan nurses and the memorial hall fund. Tickets cost £8 each and will be available on the door or in advance from Pam Hudgell on 01189 402105 or Hilary Penrose on 01189 402153.
