Centre on the move

A VOLUNTEER centre in Sonning Common will move into to its new home on Monday.

The Fish centre is relocating to the old doctors’ surgery at the junction of Kennylands Road and Wood Lane after 32 years at the village hall.

The move comes after the charity bought a new £46,000 minibus that will be used to provide day trips for vulnerable residents.

The 16-seater Iveco Daily vehicle, which was funded through sponsorship, donations and fund-raising activities, has been customised with the addition of an extra-low step and an electro-hydraulic lift system for disabled people.

For more information, contact the centre by sending an email to chairman@fishvolunteercentre.co.uk
