Appeal for spring clean helpers

THE annual Wargrave spring clean will take place tomorrow (Saturday).

The paths, verges and roads in the village and Hare Hatch parish will be tackled.

People wishing to take part should meet on Mill Green by the war memorial at 9am. The work is expected to last until noon.

Volunteers are advised to wear a pair of gloves and suitable footwear.

Litter-pickers, sacks for rubbish, safety vests and awareness leaflets will all be supplied. Organiser Marion Pope said the clean-up was suitable for all the family to take part in. There will be a prize for each child who joins in.
