HENLEY’s gardening buddies have been planting up flower beds across the town after weeks of preparation work.
Five buddies were out and about on Tuesday sprucing up two beds in Mill Lane.
They planted up the brick bed in the Henley Town FC car park and a horse trough on the river bank at the end of Mill Lane. They also visited the Reading Road entrance to Henley, Northfield End, Fair Mile and the shops in Greys Road.
Plants including marigolds, geraniums, cineraria, verbena and petunia were provided by Toad Hall garden centre.
Elizabeth Hodgkin, who runs the buddies, said: “When the buddies started we only looked after the town entrances but we do so much more now.”
