Gardeners open up their homes

BEAUTIFUL blooms were on show as hundreds of people visited Watlington in Bloom’s open gardens day on Sunday.

The event saw 12 residents open up their homes to the public.

Terry Jackson, chairwoman of Watlington in Bloom, said: “It went very well, the weather was kind to us, there was no rain and people were very pleased with the gardens.

“It’s not the same 12 gardens as last year so people had something new to look at.

“We want to thank all the people who opened their gardens and Pat Fewell who led the team.”
