A MOTHER from Henley who suffered five miscarriages has spoken of her joy after giving birth to a healthy baby boy.
Emma Taylor’s son arrived just before 7pm on Monday in the living room of her home in Western Avenue, weighing 6lb 15oz.
She and husband Andy, who already have a five-year-old daughter, Lilia, haven’t yet decided on a name.
Mrs Taylor, 39, said: “We’re very relieved that we have got a live baby. I did have a little moment in early labour when I was worried that something would go wrong but then you get overtaken by the sheer hard work and pain of it all.
“This feels like a really lovely, joyous step in our journey of having children. We’re delighted to welcome him into the family.”
