A STATIONMASTER is trying to trace the owner of a large photograph that was left on a train.
Norman Topsom, of Gainsborough Hill, Henley, said a colleague found the 3ft by 2ft print on an empty carriage at Henley station after the passengers had disembarked.
Mr Topsom, 67, who is Twford stationmaster, has kept the photo but nobody has come forward to claim it.
The black and white image shows two young girls in old-fashioned dresses sitting in a garden with a baby between them. It is mounted on white cardboard and covered with glass.
Mr Topsom said: “I think it must belong to someone who was travelling into Henley. We thought someone would come for it but haven’t had any enquiries so perhaps they’ve forgotten where they left it.
