Friends pay warm tribute at funeral of ‘Dew Drop’

TRIBUTES have been paid at the funeral of a Henley woman known for her love of animals and the countryside.

Sue Humphrey died on September 11 following a brain haemorrhage. She was 56.

Her funeral was held at St James’ Church in Bix on Friday and was led by Rev Andrea Williams, associate priest in the Nettlebed and Greys benefice.

Before the service the funeral cortege left the home she shared with her partner Haydn Jones and made its way through Lambridge Wood to the church.

About 140 white cyclamen had been placed around the church and mourners laid their own individual flowers on top of the coffin.
