Councillors get identification badges

MEMBERS of Henley Town Council could be given new name badges to help residents identify them.

MEMBERS of Henley Town Council could be given new name badges to help residents identify them.

The council has previously paid for badges but not since last year’s elections, which brought eight new councillors.

Former mayor Lorraine Hillier made the point at last Tuesday’s meeting of the finance committee. “We have all been in the position walking down the street where people don’t know who we are and we don’t have badges,” she said.
