WATLINGTON’S representative on Oxfordshire County Council will ask that grass be cut twice a year, instead of just once, in rural areas.

Councillor Steve Harrod was responding to a comment from parish councillor Tony Williamson at a meeting last week when he said that repeater signs were being obscured by high grass.

Grass cutting was reduced to once a year by the county under cost cutting measures.
