RESIDENTS’ views on life in Whitchurch are still being sought for the village’s neighbourhood plan.
The parish council, which is overseeing the process, wants to hear people’s concerns and find out what improvements they wish to see.
It has formed several volunteer working groups who will soon meet to discuss all feedback received to date.
However, there is still time to comment before the plan is published.
The document, which will eventually go to a referendum, will name sites for new homes and set policies on matters like traffic, the environment and amenities.
South Oxfordshire District Council hasn’t imposed a housing quota on Whitchurch but it could still take smaller “infill” developments.
So far residents’ concerns include parking, speeding and congestion in the village centre, the fate of the empty Greyhound pub in High Street and cuts to bus services.
